    >Things That Crack Me Up

    >10,000 word long spam comments left on my blog (yes, I cut and pasted it into open office and checked the word count, shoot me). The fact that when helping with the health and safety audit at work we came to the question on potential tripping hazards Judith turned to me and went “we’ll give that question to She Who Likes To Fall.” When the guy from the journey care booking line went “so that’s a booking for you and your electric wheelchair to travel to Oxford…” as though my powerchair was another person. >Life is a rollercoaster, just gotta ride it

    >I’ve had some really nice touching unexpected things happen lately which made me smile. E-mails and voice messages and packages in the post from people I was on holiday with. When I got home from work and found the card and photos Claire sent me I was soooo happy and sooo touched. And I had a good day at work today, I was really tired but when I got going and got there I felt good. >Good People

    > “Most of us miss out on life’s big prizes. The Pulitzer. The Nobel. An Oscar. But we’re all eligible for life’s small pleasures. A pat on the back. A kiss behind the ear. A four-pound bass. A full moon. An empty parking space. A crackling fire. A great meal. A glorious sunset. Hot soup. Cold beer. Don’t fret about cropping life’s grand awards. Enjoy its tiny delights. Know joy.”–Author Unknown. I had a tiny delight today and when I saw this quote I knew I should share both it and my experience of Knowing joy as the quote says. I called a taxi home this morning after my appointment…

    >NaNo, Card Games and Proud stuff

    >NaNoWriMo progress so far: 2090 words which means so far I am ahead! I have a copy of No Plot? No Problem! which is the official guide to NaNo and it has a table which shows the number of words you need to have finished by the end of each day. To be on track at the end of day one you need to have a total word count of 1667. I am around 400 words ahead of that and I’m not really planning to write any more today but still might. So far it seems to be quite dark and I can tell it’s going to need quite a…
